School and sports physicals are important services provided by your pediatrician. They are also required for your child to attend daycare, school, or play a sport.

A school physical consists of several steps, including:

  • Discussing any potential symptoms like chest pain, breathing problems, or dizziness that can happen when your child is physically active
  • Assessing whether your child is healthy enough to play a sport
